Another disappointing decision. Once taxpayer money is spent to permanetly move the curb, gutter and sidewalk inward there will be no chance of ever of installing bike lanes. This is a $5-$7 million dollar exercise in futility at this point. Due to the road-diet, traffic is down 3000+ cars a day from Pierce St. to Wadsworth Blvd. on 38th Ave. Will businesses on 38th Ave. with outdoor patios, etc. accept this reduction in exposure?
