CBS4 Reporting on Jeffco Property Tax “Delinquent Letter”

Please be advised that a mailing is being sent to mostly JeffCo seniors who do not have a mortgage escrow “advising” them they have “delinquent” taxes and they can pay their taxes through the private company.

Please be advised that the County Treasurer NEVER uses a third-party company to collect send out yearly tax notices or delinquent taxes, and all tax liens and mailings regarding the collection of taxes are originated through the County Treasurer’s Office.
