Hello,
The City of Wheat Ridge (City) and Citizens For and Inclusive Wheat Ridge (CFIWR) have filed responses to the lawsuit that was filed against the citizen initiated ballot question 300 (TIF Reform). TIF Reform was approved by the Wheat Ridge voters in the November/2015 election. Please CLICK on the links below to view the responses.
UPDATE: The most recent amendment (3/17/2016) notes that CFIWR and Keep Wheat Ridge Local (KWRL) have joined forces to defend against the lawsuit filed by Quadrant Properties against ballot question 300 (TIF Reform).

Regardless of anyone’s personal opinion concerning ballot question 300, all of 300 should be defended by City Council since it was approved by the voters. The judge decides constitutional law, not City Council. If the retroactive provision is ruled unconstitutional by the judge so be it. City Council talking about 300 on the 22nd of Feb/2016 is now pointless since responses have been filed.
