I walk the walk.
I have always supported public art, parks/open space, and small business owners – as an elected official and as a private citizen. In Wheat Ridge I supported and, in several cases, initiated the purchase of four parks — Founder’s Park, the Wheat Ridge Greenbelt (less water rights), Discovery Park, and Hopper Hollow Park — along with expanding public art through the Mayor’s Public Art Initiative. I was also on the ballot committee for the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center.
I will continue championing public art, parks/open space and small business owners in Jefferson County as your next County Commissioner – these investments strengthen our community, our economy, preserve our JeffCo character, and improve the quality of life for everyone.
